I can't believe it

If we were looking for a sign that we were doing the right thing, I think we have found it. Our house is SOLD! In FIVE days! In this economy! It is insane!

We put our house on the market last Friday night. Saturday we get a call from some friends who had been under contract on a WAY more expensive house, but their financing fell through. On Monday we showed the house and on Wednesday John called and they agreed on a price and it was done, just like that!

The funniest part is that my sister and her husband Nick were visiting us in Fayetteville when we sold that house. So this time they happened to be coming to visit again. They got in town on Wednesday and I told them on the drive from the airport that I expected an offer since they were visiting us again. Literally the offer came within an hour of them walking through our door! My sister said next time we want to sell a house we are paying for their flights : )

In a crazy turn of events, they want us out by Feb 25! Mentally, I was planning on owning this house for another year, but now we are out in two weeks. So we're renting a furnished apartment, putting our stuff in storage and seeing where we end up!

Here is our schedule for Feb:
- Feb 4 - 10 Christy & Nick in town
- Feb 13 - 17 Randall & Antje in town
- Feb 17/18 find an apartment in Denver
- Feb 18 - 20 Matt Mayer in town
- Feb 20 & 21 - cross country ski trip with some friends
- Feb 24/25 - packers and movers come
- March 1 - hopefully move into new place
- March 5 - my parents come

We are so excited for all of our visitors, but I was not counting on all the other activity! Should be a fun blur : )
