Pirate Dog

Marley's eye has been bothering him and he's been on and off antibiotics trying to clear up what we thought was an infection from a trauma. Lance took him to a new vet yesterday who immediately referred him to a doggie-opthamologist (who knew?). Turns out, he has a tumor in his eye, is currently blind in that eye, and unfortunately, the eye needs to come out.

I'm pretty bummed that my beautiful Marley, however annoying his quirks may be, has to lose his eye. I plan to fill him with pain meds this weekend so he can open his eye all the way (he currently has it at least 1/2 shut all the time) and take some pictures of my original baby boy.
