I took sewing lessons this year and since then Gwen has been begging for a sewing machine. I found one for her for Christmas (a kid's one), but it didn't end up working so I got her this knitting machine instead. In about 10 minutes, she can make these rockin' out arm warmers and she is so proud of them!! I'm totally jealous.
