Darcy's Soccer Goal!

About a month ago, the girls had their last soccer games of the spring season. We "happened" to capture this big moment on camera when Darcy scored her first goal!

Now watching the video, you will be amazed at Darcy's quickness. She is so fast, it really makes the other girls look like they are standing still. Almost as if the coaches have orchestrated the whole thing by telling the other girls not to move. But I assure you, this is not the case. She is just that fast!

This was another one of those heart-bursting moments. What I love, listening to the video, is how I can hear everyone else cheering for Darcy as well. Her teammates and the other parents were so supportive of her all season, even though her only "job" was kick-off.



Darcy really loved soccer. She was the last one to want to sit out, and the first one to volunteer to go back in. She did get frustrated b/c she didn't get to touch the ball much, which made us sad at times, but she had the best little spirit and attitude and she just really enjoyed being part of a team. Yay Darcy! We Love You, Soccer Star!
