A few more Gwen poems

Cleaning out Gwen's backpack from 1st grade (I cannot even believe that 1st grade is over already! Wasn't it just last week that I was blubbering the whole way home from dropping her off for her first day?). Anyway, found a few more poems in her writing folder that I enjoyed:

FLOWER acrostic poem (commas added by mom)
Flitter bright, glowing light
Loud or soft
On and off
Wow, you are pretty
Excited and not
Rare and special you are

BIRTHDAY acrostic poem (commas added by mom)
Baby, big kid, anyone at all
It's a special day
Really special once a year
Today's the day
Hello friends, everyone here
Daddy cuts cake
And everyone cheers
Yay! Ready to play

COUSINS haiku poem

Cousins
Friends Happy
Biking Playing Smiling
Fun to play with them
Family

FAMILY haiku poem

Family
Fun Happy
Caring Loving Hugging
We care about each other
Love

Gwen's Super Poem written by Gwen on her own - very artsy : )
Rainbows are sweet as sugar
So is the day you fly away
For the rainbow in your heart is still with me its true
You're as sweet as sugar, you fly away to my heart

A Christmas Song written by Gwen a long time ago, which has been sitting in my office for months b/c I wanted to put it on here:
One starry night Santa will come
Rudolph leading his sleigh
Ho Ho Ho he will call
Rudolph's nose shining so bright
So so bright it would light up the night sky
Children good and children bad
Sleeping their dreams away
And down your chimney Santa will come
Don't stay awake!
