And I Thought My Garden Was a Failure...

I had completely given up on my dream of eating one single thing from my garden this year, until.... a friend mentioned that it looked like I had some soybeans! I went and checked and sure enough, there were a few little pods. Were they plump and delicious? NO, they were shriveled and dry. BUT they were edible and the kids got to pick something from their own garden! Good enough for me!
