I kept forgetting to post that I took sewing lessons and made Gwen and her doll matching jumpers for Christmas. It was a labor of love, but well worth it, as Gwen tries to wear her jumper whenever she possibly can. : )

Took the girls to Mary Poppins. A bit to lengthy for them, but they LOVED the experience!

Darcy was the cutest ever in a ballet recital! She didn't do ONE SINGLE move with the rest of the class, but she made up a few of her own and we cracked up regardless. I tried to post the funniest video ever, but for some reason it didn't work : (

We tried to copy a great idea from The Landes Adventures. Gwen wrote a note asking our neighbors to save their cans for us so we could recycle them and send the money to Haiti. On two different recycling days we walked around the neighborhood with our wagon and collected cans (here we are on the first day with a neighbor). Then we had a field trip to the recycling center and saw how are cans were recycled. It was a lot of effort and we made $11.70!!! Turns out cans are not very heavy and they pay by the pound. We were bummed but it was a good lesson nonetheless!
