Here was the view from our window the other morning! We got snow THREE times in September, although not enough to accumulate. Now it is officially snowing OFTEN. Preschool is already requiring snowpants, long underwear and winter boots!! The kids all have little snowshoes at preschool and they will go snowshoeing in the afternoons as soon as there is enough snow. How cool is that? They are also going to take the kids to ski lessons on Fridays. FUN!
Luckily for us, it still gets into the 60s a lot of days, but its definitely looking like Fall is over and Winter has begun. Lance is predicting an "epic" winter b/c we got a TON of rain this fall, which is unusual, and b/c it normally doesn't start snowing until late October. Perfect for me, who won't be skiing at all this year!
The picture above is part of our view from our house. The hill you see is part of our neighborhood on this side, and part of SolVista Ski Resort on the other side. 1 mile from our house - not bad!
