Hilton Head 2009!

Lance and I have been going to Hilton Head with my family since we got married, so its become quite an event for us. My family REALLY likes tradition, so we basically have the exact same week every year (i.e. eat at the same restaurants, etc.) but that makes it really fun for the kids b/c they develop such good memories of each activity. There are always fireworks on Tuesday evenings, and as we sat there this year we realized that Gwen had seen the fireworks at 6 months, 2.5 years, 3.5 years and 5.5 years. Pretty special!! **I would also like to note that we packed an entire family of 5, including beach toys, etc. in TWO bags - one large duffle bag and Lance's golf bag (including his clubs and lots of clothes packed around them). We didn't want to pay for lots of luggage - I was so proud that we were able to pack light!

We had a GREAT time and it was so good to see my family, and especially little Mara!!

We took a dolphin boat ride with the whole gang. Beckett and Mara both slept soundly through the whole thing.

The girls with grandma. Darcy was absolutely attached to grandmas leg the entire time, much to her delight!

Grandpa and Gwen on the beach - they were so excited to find a LIVE sand dollar!
The Singh family!! Who would have thought that these two parents would produce a fair-skinned, red-haired child???

In my head, this family picture on the beach was going to be so lovely. In reality, this is the best we got, but it definitely shows the stage we are in right now!

And perhaps the best part... In the airport on the way home we saw SANTA!!! And can you believe it, he was taking a vacation to DENVER!!! The girls were thrilled beyond belief!
